    Position Summary:

    We are looking for a dedicated Physician Assistant to provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a licensed physician. The ideal candidate will have experience or a passion for diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions in a clinical setting.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Patient Examination & Diagnosis:
      • Perform detailed histories and physical exams.
      • Review patient records and order necessary laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic tests.
      • Make medical diagnoses and recommend therapies or referrals as appropriate.
    • Patient Care & Treatment:
      • Provide primary care services such as stitching wounds, setting bones, and administering immunizations.
      • Prescribe medications and recommend lifestyle changes to treat illnesses and prevent future issues.
      • Interpret patient data to develop treatment plans and offer guidance on medical matters.
    • Clinical Procedures & Documentation:
      • Perform hospital rounds and provide accurate progress notes.
      • Transcribe and execute specific orders as directed by the supervising physician.
      • Order and evaluate tests to determine the extent of illnesses or injuries.
    • Collaboration & Communication:
      • Work closely with physicians and other healthcare team members to manage patient care.
      • Provide patient education on medical conditions and treatments.
      • Ensure accurate, detailed documentation of all patient interactions and procedures.

    Education & Experience Requirements:

    • Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
    • Licensing & Certification:
      • Must have passed the PA National Certifying Exam.
      • Must hold an active Physician Assistant license in the State of Texas.
    • Experience:
      • 2-3 years of experience in healthcare, preferably as a nurse or in another healthcare role.
