Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Provider (Surgical)

We are actively recruiting for a Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) (Surgical) to join our area clinics in our collaborative network where you will have easy access to system-wide support as you work alongside a highly motivated and skilled Neurosurgery team. We provide patient-centered, team-based care to a diverse population of patients.

About the position:

· Depending on departmental need and coverage, may be structured as 4/10 or 5/8 shifts, will also include weekend rounding/hospital inpatient coverage (1st contact text messages) including one weekend every 6 weeks

o Average # of patients seen per day:

o Daily inpatient rounding: 2 - 12

o Clinic days: 2-5 per week, dependent on case load and coverage needs

o OR cases: 1 - 6

· Three surgeons in the practice and will support all three including clinic coverage at any time for add on postoperative/symptom checks

· Must be:

o Willing to take calls/Voalte messages/rounding responsibilities ~in equitable arrangement with providers and APP in group

o Flexible for coverage to come in to assist in surgery on other days if agreed upon early and as needed to cover APP vacation/illness

Qualifications:

· Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority

· New graduates are encouraged to apply

· Nurse Practitioners must have/ability/plan to become Certified Surgical First Assist

TOTAL COMPENSATION: $130,000- $165,000

Our urgent care clinics provide a safety net of after-hours care, including telehealth and walk-in consults. Coordinating care and resources is streamlined as we also have 50+ specialty clinics that provide access throughout our district.
