East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, GA is seeking BE/BC Obstetrics & Gynecology physicians for well-established, single-specialty private practice within 1/2 mile from the hospital. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

  • Join 3 Physicians, 1 Physician Assistant, and 3 Family Nurse Practitioners
  • Inpatient / Outpatient Mix
  • Inpatient Call - 1:6
  • Practice Call - Not less than 1:4 to 1:6 (Telephone call only)
  • Several call groups exists within the private practice
  • Weekend Call will be shared equally
  • Main office less than a mile from hospital with procedures center across the street from that facility. Practice has clinic offices in Swainsboro (45 minutes away) and Sylvania (25 minutes away) once weekly.

East Georgia Regional's healthcare team consists of approximately 1000 associates and over 120 physicians representing a wide range of specialties. The hospital offers a 24-hour emergency department, a Level II neonatal center, same-day surgery and ambulatory care, a pain management center, a wound care clinic, two cardiac catherization labs, and state-of-the-art diagnostic procedures including digital mammography, MRI, CT, PET/CT, nuclear medicine, and interventional cardiology/radiology. There are 9 OBGYNs, 21 PCPs, 3 General Surgeons on staff. Large referral base. Robust hospitalist program with 10 Hospitalists (8 daytimers and 2 nocturnists).
