SSM Health Dean Medical Group seeks an accomplished Primary Care physician to serve as Clinical Program Medical Director. This dual role combines strategic leadership with active clinical practice, offering the opportunity to shape primary care delivery while maintaining patient care responsibilities.

Location:

Role Distribution:

  • 50% Administrative Leadership
  • 50% Clinical Practice

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide executive oversight for three Madison metropolitan area clinics
  • Lead Primary Care redesign initiatives and system-wide strategic programs
  • Partner with Administration to optimize primary care service delivery
  • Manage and improve clinical operations and quality metrics
  • Maintain a clinical practice alongside leadership duties

Required Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Family Medicine
  • Active Wisconsin Medical License (or ability to obtain)
  • Current and unrestricted DEA registration
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a practicing Primary Care physician
  • Minimum 2 years of physician leadership experience
