  • The Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center of the Henry Ford Medical Group, are seeking two Movement Disorders Neurologists (Division Head of Movement Disorders and a Movement Disorders Neurologist) to join our multi-disciplinary team.  Henry Ford’s Neuroscience Institute is one of the largest and most active in the Midwest, offering the most advanced neurologic medical and surgical therapies across all the major subspecialties. 

     

    Division Head of Movement Disorders

    The Division Head opportunity entails:

    • Providing visionary leadership of our advanced, cutting-edge evidence-based care for a multitude of movement disorder problems.
    • Utilizing medical, surgical and neurostimulation related therapies.  Available treatments include deep brain stimulation, a DBS program and botulinum toxin.
    • Providing leadership, participating in and further developing our robust clinical research program.
    • Providing educational endeavors, including a teaching role with medical students, Neurology residents and Movement Disorder fellows.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Must have completed an ACGME/AOA approved Neurology residency with additional fellowship training in Movement Disorders.
    • Must be Board-certified in Neurology.
    • A proven track record of research and administration experience is required.

    Movement Disorders Neurologist

    The Movement Disorders Neurologist position offers opportunities to:

    • Provide advanced, cutting-edge evidence-based care for a multitude of movement disorder problems.
    • Medical, surgical and neurostimulation related therapies are utilized. Available treatments include deep brain stimulation, a DBS program, and botulinum toxin.
    • Participate in a robust clinical research program.
    • Position provides educational endeavors, including a teaching role with medical students, Neurology residents, and Movement Disorder fellows.

    • Must be Board-eligible/Board-certified in Neurology.
    • Must have completed an ACGME/AOA approved Neurology residency with additional fellowship training in Movement Disorders.
