    The Opportunity:

    Ob Hospitalist Group is seeking experienced and dynamic OB/GYN physician to join our clinical leadership team as a Market Medical Director. In this role, you will focus on clinical operations, new program starts, clinical leadership, hospital relationships, and business development support. You will collaborate with our clinical leadership team to ensure quality program delivery that meets both the company's and hospitals' clinical and operational objectives. The role requires working at least (5) five 24-hour hospitalist shifts per scheduling block and travel as needed to address operational priorities at assigned regional programs.

    Key responsibilities include overseeing our hospitalist services at assigned hospital programs. You will also participate in new program meetings, conduct clinical interviews, and support hospital relationships by communicating regularly with hospital clinical leadership. Additionally, you will provide clinical leadership for business development efforts and ensure a smooth transition from sales to operations. Ideal candidates are board-certified OB/GYN physicians with proven leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

    Ideal Clinical Candidates:

    • Board Certified Ob/Gyn Physician
    • Served in a hospital-based leadership capacity (e.g. Chief OB, Department Chair, etc.)
    • Highly relational, able to build strong rapport and positive working relationship with all stakeholders (Hospital leadership, hospitalist teams, nurses, staff physicians, and OBHG corporate staff)
    • Team oriented, service minded, goal focused individual who believes in OBHG mission
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
    • Able to travel as needed
