Practice Setting

• Inpatient-only consult service
• Team includes palliative care NPs
• Must be comfortable supervising APPs
• Cerner charting

** Schedule**

• Monday–Friday, 8:30a–5p or 9a–5:30p
• Must be available at least 2 weeks per month (4 weeks preferred)
• Ongoing assignment starting ASAP through August

** Procedures and Cases**

• Inpatient palliative care consults
• Supervise and collaborate with palliative care NPs
• Adults only
• Average 3–4 new consults and 3–4 follow-ups per day

** Requirements**

• Board certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
• Fellowship trained
• Active Georgia license
• DEA required

** Credentialing and Travel**

• Temp privileges in 2–3 weeks for clean files
• Full credentialing: 2–3 months
• Travel and lodging provided
