Location: Texas (2 hrs from Dallas, TX)

Hospital Info: Level II trauma facility, Level III NICU

​

Shift & Call Details: Mon-Fri, 7a-5p, 1:4 weeknight and weekend call. Will accept a minimum of 1 week/month (prefer more if possible)

Credentialing Timeframe: 45-60 days

Job Details:

• 25% peds, 75% adult
• Adult cases: neuro, ortho, vascular, endos, gyn, bariatric, all kinds of general surgery, lots of robotic cases (everything but hearts and OB)
• Ped cases: predominantly hernias, appys, GI usually are cerebral palsy patients
• No complex peds because they do not have a peds ICU (shipped to Dallas)
• Neonates are required (typically exploratory laps, possible caths, no hearts)
• Adult cases are CRNA direction and all peds/neonates are solo unless the CRNA is comfortable assisting
• Night call is for peds only and solo
• You can have up to 4 rooms at one time, but if doing a ped case solo, that would be your only room at the time. If the CRNA is comfortable with peds, you might have a peds room and 3 adult rooms that you are supervising
• Epic EMR
• Must have an active TX license or an active IMLC SPL
• All travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered
