  • RUSH MD Anderson Cancer Center, located in downtown Chicago, invites applications for the position of Division Chief of Hematology, Oncology & Cell Therapy.

    Responsibilities

    1. Oversee clinical and academic performance of the Division within the Department of Internal Medicine.
    2. Champion talent acquisition, professional development, and retention efforts for the Division and RUSH- MD Anderson Cancer Center and its regional sites.
    3. Work closely with the Department Chairperson and Cancer Center Director to develop and implement a strategic vision for the Division.
    4. Maintain and grow clinical, educational, and research programs within the Division.
    5. Develop strategic interdisciplinary teams to advance research initiatives.
    6. Foster and support faculty development and advancement.

    1. Demonstrate a strong record of collaborative leadership and commitment to excellence in clinical, research, and academic service.
    2. Possess ongoing research achievement, community engagement, and educational excellence.
    3. Commit to mentoring faculty, trainees, and medical students.
    4. Guide faculty development and advancement across research, clinical, and academic missions.
    5. Appointment as Professor.
    6. MD or equivalent degree.
    7. Board certification in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.
    8. Demonstrated commitment to innovation.
    9. Strong leadership skills.
