  • Cortica is seeking a Site Medical Director for our Scottsdale, AZ team. We are a rapidly growing healthcare company pioneering an interdisciplinary approach to neurodevelopment. Our goal is to make top-quality care for autism and other developmental differences easily accessible. We serve patients with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, sensory processing disorder, speech and language disorders, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, genetic conditions, and more. Our interdisciplinary team includes pediatric neurologists, pediatricians, nurse practitioners, EEG technicians, counselors, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, behavior therapists (ABA), music therapists, and more.

    In this role, you will provide administrative medical leadership, manage and supervise physicians and nurse practitioners, and provide medical care to patients with autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental differences as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team.

    Role Overview:

    Clinical Duties (90%):

    • Provide direct patient care (in-person and telehealth) to pediatric and adult patients.
    • Perform patient care activities: history taking, exams, clinical decision-making, order entry, referrals, and documentation.
    • Meet productivity standards and maintain the ratio of new to follow-up visits.
    • Complete clinical documentation timely.
    • Communicate patient care plans to medical assistants and respond to patient-care needs within two business days.
    • Show commitment to multidisciplinary care for pediatric neurodevelopment and advance knowledge and skills.
    • Lead, present, and teach at Weekly Rounds and educational events.

    Administrative Duties (10%):

    • Oversee recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance of new physicians and medical practitioners.
    • Collaborate with Area and Site administrative leaders for clinical and operational excellence.
    • Achieve clinical and operational KPIs, including metrics on the Whole Child Scorecard and operational metrics like RVUs.
    • Inspire and motivate the medical team to align with Cortica’s mission.
    • Participate in business development, program leadership, community outreach, and payer relations.

    Requirements:

    • Medical School graduate from an accredited university.
    • Completed Residency in Pediatrics or Child Neurology.
    • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Pediatrics, Child Neurology, Neurodevelopmental Disabilities, or related specialty.
    • Unrestricted medical license or the ability to obtain one.
    • Preferred: Previous experience in a clinical leadership position.

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • Base pay range: $191,000 to $276,000 based on skill level, experience, education, and location.
