Faculty position employed by the University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine, practicing in UT Health East Texas facilities. UT Tyler School of Medicine is searching for a primarily outpatient BE/BC Pediatrician to join its clinic in Henderson, TX-_34 mi SE of Tyler/136 mi SE Dallas_

About the Position:

· Join 1 physician and 1 APP

· Monday- Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

· 4 hours of administrative time

· Excellent physician schedule and quality of life

· In-house OB/Gyn available at UT Health Henderson that can see newborns

About the Hospital: UT Health Henderson is a 96-bed facility that is a part of UT Health East Texas. The school offers a robust Graduate Medical Education program, with 20 residency and fellowship training programs, enabling graduates to gain specialized skills in areas such as family medicine, internal medicine, neurology, psychiatry, surgery, and anesthesia.

 

Construction is currently underway on a five-story, 248,000-square-foot Medical Education Building (MEB) in Tyler’s Midtown District. Connected by a sky bridge to UT Health Tyler, the MEB will support interdisciplinary education for medical students and resident training. It will also aid as part of a medical education program expansion throughout the UT Health East Texas Health System. The building is scheduled for completion in fall of 2025.
