  • Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, a nationally recognized academic healthcare system, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our growing network of non-faculty, community-based multispecialty practices in Winston-Salem, High Point, and Greensboro, North Carolina.

    Position Highlights:

    • 100% Outpatient Care in a well-established, multispecialty group setting.
    • Full-Time Schedule: 40-hour workweek consisting of 36 patient-facing hours and 4 hours of administrative time per week.
    • Rotating Shared Call Coverage for weekdays and weekends – light, telephone-based only.
    • Adjunct Academic Appointment for hospital admitting privileges.
    • Direct Connection with the Gastroenterology Academic Department for mentorship, guidance, and additional support.
    • Collaborative and Supportive Practice Environment within a renowned academic healthcare system that values teamwork and patient-centered care.

    Physician Requirements:

    • Graduation from an accredited medical school as an M.D./D.O.
    • Successful completion of Internal Medicine residency at an accredited healthcare institution.
    • Successful completion of Gastroenterology Fellowship at an accredited healthcare institution.
    • Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License as a current M.D./D.O.
    • Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology from said residency.
    • Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
    • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing required.

    $500-550k
