MFM with Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in Coastal Florida

Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital (JHACH) in St. Petersburg, Florida is recruiting several additional maternal-fetal medicine physicians for our rapidly expanding team of 10.  JHACH is a 259-bed teaching hospital, ranked as a U.S. News & World Report Best Children’s Hospital (2024-2025) in 6 pediatric specialties and the #1 Children’s Hospital in Florida. As a leading MFM program in Florida, we treat patients from around the state, country, and internationally. As we continue hiring additional perinatologists to meet the rising demand for our services, various practice settings are available including: 

St. Petersburg: The main campus MFM practice is primarily consultation based but we provide obstetrical services to the very high-risk patient. We cover two large labor and delivery units in the St. Petersburg region with a combined total of 7,000 deliveries/year. Tampa-St. Petersburg is centrally located to many of Florida's top attractions, only minutes from the beautiful Gulf beaches, 90 miles from Orlando and four hours from Miami. 

Fort Myers: Our new perinatologists are members of the JHACH MFM team but will be based at our new practice site in Fort Myers. MFM team members in Fort Myers will provide high-risk consultation and ultrasound services (no deliveries). Located in Southwest Florida, Fort Myers is a vibrant city known for its beautiful beaches, rich history, and cultural attractions. The city offers pristine beaches along the Gulf of Mexico, as well as thriving arts scene with numerous galleries, theaters, and music venues. We are recruiting two additional MFMs for this site. 

Pasco County (30 minutes north of Tampa): This is a family-friendly MFM practice that provides high-risk consultation and ultrasound services (no deliveries). Our new MFM can be anchored at this site, or even choose a hybrid practice setting, seeing patients at the main campus as well. Pasco County is one of the fastest growing counties in the United States yet has maintained an affordable cost of living. Residents enjoy a wide range of housing options, a designer golf course, an array of shopping and excellent schools. 

The Maternal, Fetal and Neonatal Institute (MFNI) at JHACH provides comprehensive care for women and babies throughout all stages of development, including specialized care for mothers with high-risk pregnancies. Although these are clinically focused positions, MFMs may be eligible for an academic appointment at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
