Locum Electrophysiologist needed in AZ. $425+/hour + Travel and Lodging

📍 Location: Hospital & Clinic Setting (AZ)

📅 Start Date: ASAP

Position Details:

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Cath Lab at the hospital)

Clinic Days:

Wednesdays: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (In-Office Clinic)

2nd Friday of the Month: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Telemedicine Clinic)

4th Friday of the Month: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (In-Office Clinic; first patient at 9:00 AM)

Night Beeper Call: Fridays (on specific weeks)

Coverage Dates: Will be ongoing dates as well

April 14-18

April 21-25

June 9-13

July 7-11

Patient & Facility Information:

Patients per Day: 20-22 in clinic

Patient Population: Adults

Hospital Bed Size: 268

Department Overview:

Cath Lab: 3-4 hospital consults per day

EP Cases: 4-6 per day (varies by case length)

EMR: Cerner

Special Procedures:

Cardiac Electrophysiology – heart rhythm disturbances

Ablations (must have 100 EP cases in the last 2 years, with emphasis on ablations)

Practice Setting:

✅ Hospital

✅ In-Office Clinic

Requirements:

✔ Board Certification: BC/BE required

✔ License: AZ licensed (or willing to obtain)

✔ DEA: AZ-registered

✔ CSR: Not required

✔ Certifications: ACLS

✔ Experience: Minimum of 1 year required

✔ Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
