Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities:

  • Our team is seeking an Ophthalmologist with a focus as a retina specialist to join our Arlington Vision Center.
  • Location is 4011 172nd St NE, Arlington, WA 98223
  • Full-time; 4/10 schedule or negotiable schedule

  • No weekend shifts
    • Call Coverage: Our Optometrists & Ophthalmologists rotate/share after-hours call coverage.
  • Joining 1 other Optometrist and 1 Ophthalmologist at the Arlington clinic. We are in the process of hiring a 2nd Optometrist. The Department combined at all locations consists of 6 Optometrists, 7 Ophthalmologists. Our team encompasses retina, cornea, glaucoma, and oculoplastic subspecialists.
  • Supported by an MAs, RNs, and dedicated Surgery Schedulers
  • Collegial group practice with a large referral base
  • Epic EMR; Microsoft Suite
  • New clinic as of April 2023; all new equipment. Optos with FA capabilities and a pattern green laser for retina. We have a Heidelberg OCT for retinal imaging.

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Ophthalmology Residency Program
  • Completion of a vitreoretinal medical or surgical fellowship
  • Board Eligible or Certified: American Board of Ophthalmology
  • Unrestricted WA Physician License or the ability to obtain prior to start
  • Current DEA certificate required prior to start date
  • EMR Proficient – EPIC Preferred

Washington Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $343,411 to $550,228 per year. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
