Geriatrics Clinician and Skilled Nursing Facility Physician

Job Summary:
The Division of Geriatrics & Gerontology, Department of Medicine, UW School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking applicants for a full-time clinical assistant or associate professor on the Clinician Teacher (CT) or Clinical Health Sciences (CHS) track. The successful candidate will join a world-class institution that encourages, values and supports interdisciplinary basic, clinical and population health research, and attracts scholars and students from around the world.
The faculty member will provide primary care in the ambulatory and skilled nursing facility setting. Primary care is provided to older adult patients in one or more outpatient UW Health geriatric clinics working with a geriatric clinical care team including other providers. The faculty member will also provide primary care visits at various skilled nursing facilities. The candidate will provide clinical teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows.
Madison is the state's capital city with a population of over 252,000, and offers an ideal combination of natural beauty, stimulating cultural events, outstanding schools and outdoor recreation.
Qualifications:
For an appointment at Associate Professor or Professor rank on CHS Track, candidates will meet criteria established by the department and as outlined in the School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for promotion or appointment to Associate or Professor on the CHS Track.
For an appointment at Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor rank on CT Track, candidates will meet criteria established by the department and as outlined in the School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for promotion or appointment to Associate or Professor on the CT Track.
