Clinical and Teaching Physician Faculty - Northport Drive Clinic

Job Summary:

The Department of Family Medicine and Community Health is interested in a Family Medicine physician to join the UW Health Northport Drive Clinic. This physician faculty will practice full-spectrum family medicine in the inpatient and outpatient settings, with maternity care (OB) being optional. This position will be involved in teaching of residents, medical students, and other learners. This position will include academic scholarly work if the finalist is hired on the CHS Track.

Qualifications:

Successful completion of a fully accredited Family Medicine Residency Program by appointment start date.

For an appointment at Associate Professor or Professor rank on CHS Track, candidates will meet criteria established by the department and as outlined in the School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for promotion or appointment to Associate or Professor on the CHS Track.

Education:

Required
Terminal Degree
MD, DO, or equivalent.

License/Certification:

Required
MD - Physician - State Licensure
Wisconsin Medical License prior to appointment start date.

Preferred
PHYS - Physician
Board Certified or eligible for certification by American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP) by the appointment start date.
