    The Palliative Care Practice of MaineHealth Medical Group (MHMG) is seeking palliative care physicians to join our rapidly growing team. There are palliative care physician needs across the MaineHealth system in various locations and settings. We are seeking physician support at Maine Medical Center (MMC) in Portland, the freestanding palliative care outpatient clinic in Scarborough, inpatient and outpatient settings at Lincoln and Mid Coast Hospital, and outreach clinics to rural hospitals in the mountain region of Western Maine. Candidates must be BC/BE in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.

    This position offers:

    1. Part of an effort to increase access to specialty palliative care across MaineHealth Medical Group.
    2. We are developing a home-based palliative care program.
    3. Working together with an interdisciplinary team, the MHMG Palliative Care Practice is poised to meet the increasing demand for high quality specialty palliative care across MaineHealth.
    4. The interdisciplinary team is committed to providing exceptional patient and family-centered care and maintaining a supportive and collaborative practice environment.
    5. Team-based care model with collaborative approach to care.

    Qualifications:

    1. MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
    2. Board Certification/Board Eligible.
