Job Summary:
The University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center and the Division of Hematology, Medical Oncology and Palliative Care seeks an academic physician in thoracic oncology, with a cancer research interest, to join our team. This is a clinical health services (CHS) opportunity for prospects seeking an Associate Professor or Assistant Professor position.
Qualifications:
Experience in clinical, basic science or translational research, with a track record of successful publications in peer reviewed journals, strong written and verbal communication skills, commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, evidence of excellence in teaching and current or high potential to obtain extramural funding. Through these efforts, the ability to enhance national recognition for our division and the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center.
For appointment at Associate Professor on the Clinical Health Services (CHS) track, candidates will meet criteria established by the department and as outlined in the School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for promotion or appointment to Associate Professor on the Clinical Health Services (CHS) track.

Terminal Degree
MD, DO, or equivalent
License/Certification:
Required
ABIM - American Board of Internal Medicine Certification
Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Must have completed an accredited fellowship training program in Medical Oncology.
Must be eligible for a Wisconsin medical license.
