Primary Responsibilities:
- Optum Clinic Locations: West Metro (including West Denver, Golden, Littleton, Lakewood, Arvada). This includes longer term assignments at one clinic (months) and flexibility to include shorter term assignments as other clinics (days or weeks).
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Covers PTO, LOA, vacancies, and CMEs
- Manage patient care in outpatient setting
- Comfortable seeing patients of all ages; primarily adults/senior base
- Average Daily Patient Census: 18-20 patients
- Complete timely and thorough documentation
- Formulate diagnostic and treatment plans
- Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, and procedures
- Order lab and imaging tests to determine and manage an immediate treatment plan and provide advice on follow up
- Responsible for the coordination of care with specialists and appropriate ancillary services
- Maintain quality of care standards as defined by the practice
Required Qualifications:
- Active unrestricted APRN License in Colorado
- Prescribing authority or ability to obtain prior to employment
- DEA license or ability to obtain prior to employment
Preferred Qualifications:
Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for this roleis $109,513 to $147,146 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
