Breast Imaging Radiologist - Asst. Assoc. or Full Professor (CT or CHS Track)

Job Summary:

The Department of Radiology, University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking a full-time fellowship trained breast imaging radiologist, interested in pursuing an academic career in breast imaging, to join our collaborative team of breast imagers at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor on the CHS (Clinical Health Sciences) Track or CT (Clinician Teacher) Track. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and function as a team player within the group of breast imaging radiologists providing breast screening, diagnostic and procedure imaging services across UW Health.

The UW Health Breast Center treats over 700 new breast cancer patients yearly and is accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers. Breast Imaging radiologists work side by side with an excellent, collaborative team of breast surgeons and oncologic providers in the UW Health Breast Center. Multidisciplinary tumor board and radiology-pathology correlation conferences occur weekly. A new state of the art outpatient medical center, the Eastpark Medical Center, opened in the Fall of 2024. Both the UW Hospital and Eastpark Medical Center Breast Centers have an integrated Breast Center with integrated breast imaging and clinical services. The Breast Imaging Section in the UW Department of Radiology trains up to four breast imaging fellows and many residents on an annual basis.

Qualifications:

Fellowship training in Breast Imaging including mammography, ultrasound and breast MRI, and image-guided breast biopsies is required by the start date of the position.

MD, DO or equivalent is required by the start date of the position.

ABR - Certified or board eligible by American Board of Radiology
Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology with the American Board of Radiology is required by the start date of the position.
