Locums Tenens Breast Surgeon Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated locums tenens Breast Surgeon to provide full-time coverage for a health system in Fullerton, CA. This role offers an opportunity to join a supportive team and deliver essential care to adult patients in an outpatient setting. Schedule:

• Estimated Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• Days Needed: Full-time, ongoing

• Scheduled Hours:

  • Clinic: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
  • OR time: Fluid, based on available blocks
  • Night call: Mostly after clinic; potential for 24-hour beeper call on weekends

Practice Setting / Cases:

• Practice Setting: Outpatient
• Patient Ages: Adult
• Volume: 12-15 patients per day
• Types of Cases: Oncology Breast Surgery, Mastectomy/Lumpectomy
• Procedures Required: Only Oncology Breast Surgery and Mastectomy/Lumpectomy
• Support Staff: 1 APP, 3 MAs, 2 Office staff
• Charting: Epic

Requirements:

• Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
• Will Wait for License?: No
• Call Requirements: Main clinician handles most calls; locum may cover 24-hour beeper call on weekends if needed
