Key Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and manage anesthesia levels throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe and effective anesthesia care.
• Conduct preoperative evaluations to assess patient readiness and anesthesia risk.
• Develop and implement anesthesia care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Provide post-anesthesia care, including pain management and monitoring recovery.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Board certification in Anesthesiology.
• Valid state medical license to practice in New York.
• Active DEA license.
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and procedures across various surgical specialties.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in a high-volume hospital setting.
• Familiarity with advanced anesthesia monitoring equipment.
• Experience with a wide range of anesthesia techniques, including general, regional, and local anesthesia.
• Proven ability to manage complex cases and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
