Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive and problem-focused medical history and physical examinations.
- Implement therapeutic intervention for specific conditions.
- Order and perform diagnostic procedures and studies, such as EMG, Electrocardiogram, Compartment pressure measurements, X-ray examinations, CT, MRI, and bone scans.
Position Highlights:
- Monday through Friday, potential for some Saturdays
- Available to work until 8 PM in some cases, depending on facility schedule
- Flexible scheduling: Shifts can range from 3-5 shifts per week
- NO Call, NO Hospital rounds
- Ages: Newborn to 21
- Physician-led, patient centered team-based environment.
- Providing full spectrum Pediatrics, focusing on value-based care and supported by a robust team of specialists.

Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree as Nurse Practitioner of Physician Assistant from an accredited program.
- Certified as a Nurse Practitioner through the ANCC/AANP, or as a Physician Assistant through the NCCPA.
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (Advanced Practice Nurse, ANP) or Physician Assistant license in the State of New Jersey.
- Active and unrestricted CDS permit (or ability to obtain prior to start).
- Active and unrestricted DEA License (or ability to obtain prior to start).
- Minimum 1 year of experience required and ability to practice independently
The salary range for this role is $104,500 to $156,000 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
