University Medical Partners (UMP), a partner of Stanford Medicine, is seeking a full-time BC/BE Pulmonary and Critical Care physician to join our multidisciplinary team in Pleasanton, CA!

Job Details

1. Full time is 36 patient contact hours per week
2. Seeking general Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine physician to work alongside three (3) physicians in clinic
3. Clinic location: SHC Chest Clinic in Pleasanton, CA
4. Opportunity is a mix of outpatient Pulmonary Medicine, inpatient ICU/Critical Care Medicine, and inpatient general
5. Pulmonary consult service at Stanford Tri-Valley Hospital in Pleasanton, CA
6. Clinicians see approximately 14-16 patients per day
7. Outpatient clinic also includes reading of PFTs
8. 6-8 weeks of ICU coverage per year, coverage scheduled in 1-week blocks
9. 1.5 ICU night shifts per month, 1-2 swing shifts per month
10. BE/BC in Sleep Medicine a plus (but not mandatory)
11. Call Schedule: 1:3 for Pulmonary coverage; average 1-2 in-house night shifts and 1-2 swing (evening) shifts per month covering medial ICU and post-surgery (includes cardiac surgery) at Stanford Tri-Valley Hospital
12. CVICU experience required; Endobronchial Ultrasound Bronchoscopy experience preferred
13. Collaborate closely with Stanford University School of Medicine Faculty physicians
14. Teaching opportunities for Stanford PCCM and Critical Care Fellows and Family Medicine Residents, to include potential academic appointment
