Locums Cardiac Physician Assistant needed in Ilinois

Cardiovascular APP - Illinois

Location: Peoria area, IL

-Procedures required: vent management, intubations, central lines, arterial lines

-PA required to manage vasopressors / inotropes, medications, arrythmias, VV / VA, ECMOs, IABPs, Impellas, post transplant patients, VADs, as well as medical management as needed

-Manage pacing wires, sternotomy sites, and EVH sites independently and safely

-12.5 hour shifts

-shift time: 6:30am- 7:00pm

-PA will manage a robust cardiac post-operative ICU

-Responsible for a census of 8+ patients each day

-PA will round with Surgeon and charge nurses daily

-Provider will work independently but will sometimes be staffed with an additional APP to split the work

-Will round and work closely with 3 CV ICU Surgeons
