A Pennsylvania health system is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist for ongoing inpatient call coverage across three closely located hospitals. Strong weekday APP support and manageable volumes make this an ideal long-term locums opportunity.
Position Details
- Start Date: July 2025
- Schedule: Ongoing, min. 7 shifts/month
- Shift: 24-hour call (Mon 7a – Mon 7a blocks preferred)
- Setting: Inpatient
- Call Volume: Light on weekdays, busier on weekends
- Cases: General urology, consults, emergent procedures
- Pediatrics: ~5%, mainly testicular torsion
- Support: APPs M–F (8a–4:30p)
- EMR: EPIC
Requirements
- Board Status: BC/BE (within 5 years) in Urology
- Experience: 5+ years
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Licensure: PA or IMLC LOQ
- Response Time: 30 minutes
- Credentialing: ~60 days
