  • The Division of General Internal Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of USC seeks exceptional Primary Care/General Internal Medicine physicians to join our dynamic division who hold certification or are in training as an American Academy of HIV Medicine Specialist (AAHIVS) or HIV Expert (AAHIVE)

    Each successful candidate will receive a one-time signing bonus of $10K after full execution of the letter of offer!

    Also, all new-hired faculty moving from out of the Los Angeles area are eligible for up to $10K in relocation assistance using a USC-approved vendor.

    The opportunity includes full-time ambulatory care faculty positions with options for both clinician educator and practitioner tracks. Practice locations are available throughout Los Angeles County. This position offers the chance to create a schedule that optimizes individual needs and interests within an academic medical center while providing an excellent work/life balance.

    Job Requirements

    1. Applicants must be board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine
    2. Applicants must hold a current CA State Medical License and a full schedule, fee-paid DEA License with a CA address at the time they are credentialed. These are not required at the time of hire.
    3. Must hold or obtain AAHIVM Certification
    4. Able to demonstrate an understanding of stigma related to HIV
    5. Ability to develop trust with individuals in the LGBTQ+ community
    6. Knowledge and experience in working with individuals at risk for HIV
    7. Interest and/or experience in providing gender-affirming care.

    Compensation Details

    $275-290k

    This position offers a starting base salary range of $275,000 to $290,000, depending on the applicant's professional experience and academic rank, with the opportunity for incentives.
