About the Role: AMOpportunities (AMO) is seeking qualified Pediatrics preceptors to help train and inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals. As a preceptor with AMO, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the future of pediatric care by offering students real-world clinical experience.

We’re currently looking for board-certified Pediatricians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and other qualified professionals in Cincinnati, OH to host trainees in either inpatient or outpatient settings. This is a unique opportunity to provide hands-on education in your practice while contributing to pediatric medical education.

AMO takes care of all administrative logistics—from marketing to trainee support—so you can focus on clinical teaching and mentorship.

This is a contracted position with stipends provided upon successful completion of each student’s rotation.

Preceptor Responsibilities:

• Host trainees for a 4-week rotation, 40 hours per week.
• Provide a variety of learning experiences including patient interactions, observation, case reviews, and didactics.
• Supervise all patient-related activities in accordance with AMO’s standards.
• Complete necessary documentation such as evaluations, school forms, and affiliation agreements.
• Integrate trainees into your existing workflow and schedule.
• Ensure affiliation agreements can be signed by a designated authority, if required.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified in Pediatrics (MD, DO, NP, or PA).
• Licensed to practice in Ohio.
• Strong interest in education, mentorship, and professional development.
• Ability to support medical trainees with guidance and professionalism.

Compensation:

• Part-time contract role with stipends starting at $200/week per student.
• Additional hourly compensation available for certain student types.
• Flexible scheduling based on your availability and practice needs.

Rotation Dates Available:

• July 7 – August 8
• September 1 – October 3
• October 6 – November 7
