** Medical Director role in the Bay Area**

Join a 97 bed Mental Health Rehab Center in San Leandro California. This leader in mental health is needing a medical director to coordinate, and supervise the medical and psychiatric care provided at the facility. This position is responsible for ensuring that the care provided is consistent with best practices and meets high standards of excellence. The position in in- person with a minimum of 28 hours per week onsite. Approximately sixteen hours will be in a medical director/leader/admin capacity with twelve hours of clinical contact. ** Requirements:**

• Clinical experience in the treatment of adults with serious mental illness, including those with comorbid medical and/or substance use disorders

• A medical degree from a medical school accredited by the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association and successful completion of residency training program in psychiatry

• An active California Medical License, in good standing
