  • Allegheny Health Network is seeking a full-time Emergency Radiologist to provide remote 3rd shift coverage across various AHN facilities.

    Job Details

    1. Providing diagnostic emergency radiology coverage at an academic medical center that includes an adult Level 1 trauma center, as well as a Level 2 trauma center.
    2. Coverage is also provided to the emergency departments of our community hospitals.
    3. The position’s work schedule is made up of 7-day overnight blocks every third week with blocks consisting of 9-hour weekday shifts and 10-hour weekend shifts.
    4. All AHN facilities feature state-of-the-art equipment and PACS system.

    Job Qualifications

    1. Completed training in emergency/trauma radiology (or abdominal imaging, musculoskeletal or neuroradiology with an emphasis on emergency and trauma radiology).
    2. Have a demonstrated career interest in emergency radiology, strong clinical skills in all modalities and organ systems.
    3. Must be able to function at a high level in the fast-paced, time-sensitive emergency setting, and work well in a collaborative setting.
    4. Candidates will be required to read US, CT, MRI and conventional radiography; however, performance of image-guided procedures is not a requirement.
