EM Opportunities Available In Southern Texas

This will be an Ongoing Assignment

Number of Beds: 30 ED Treatment Spaces

Census: 115/Day at main, 70/Day FSED

Daily Admissions: 25% Admission rate at Main, and 5% at FSED

Consults: All specialties with a level 3 Trauma Center, OB, and in-house Intensivists and Hospitalist services are available.

Trauma Center: Leve 3 Trauma

Support Staff: Nurses, Techs, and Paramedics.

Shifts: 7A-5P, 11A-9P, 5P-3A, and 9P-7A (Main); 7A-7P and 7P-7A (FSED)

Procedures: Intubation Central Line, Chest Tub, Conscious Sedation, Fracture Reduction, and Laceration Repair are most common. All Typical ED Procedures.

Staff Per Day: 4 Physicians at Mainn and 2 at FSED. 2PPs per day at all sites.

Rate: 275.00 Per Hour
