Responsibilities

For over 60 years, Midland Memorial Hospital has maintained their pledge to deliver quality health care to the residents of Midland County and the surrounding region. The staff, volunteers, facilities, and services reflect this commitment today. Our Neonatologists and NNPs work collaboratively, continuing these efforts to deliver exceptional care in the hospital’s NICU.

Midland Memorial Hospital in partnership with Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking per diem Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to join our program at this wonderful location. The team in Midland consists of two Neonatologists and one NNP providing coverage in this Level II NICU.

• 18 beds between Level II
• Average 2300 deliveries annually
• Average daily census of 9
• NNP in-house 24/7
• 2 MD model, in house coverage during the day, call from home
• Current level II NICU with plans to develop into level III

Qualifications

• TX medical license or active IMLC license, preferred
• Current APRN national specialty certification required
• Minimum of a master’s degree and 1 year post-grad clinical experience required
• Recent experience required

Benefits and Compensation

Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.

We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position.
