Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist Need in Central Washington!

This role involves 24-hour call shift GI coverage with a flexible commitment of 1-2 weeks per month.

​

As a GI Hospitalist, you will:

• Perform an average of 5-8 procedures daily, including up to 5 elective outpatient procedures that require anesthesia support (Mac, not IVCS).
• Handle 3-6 new inpatient consults per day in a trauma-level 3 setting.
• Communicate biopsy results directly to patients or through designated clinic medical assistants (MAs).
• Coordinate necessary follow-ups, referrals, and additional imaging to ensure comprehensive patient care.

We are seeking board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologists .Ideal candidates will have:

• A fellowship in Gastroenterology.
• Licensure in Washington State or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
• ACLS certification (required).
• Proficiency in ERCP procedures (strongly preferred).
• Anesthesia Support: Available during the day; two teams typically available on weekends in the morning. IV conscious sedation is also available if needed.
• Training Requirements: Epic EMR training will be provided.
