Forensic Inpatient Locum Tenens Psychiatrist needed in MA

• Setting: Forensic Inpatient Facility 
• Must be experienced in treating patients who suffer from serious mental illness 
• Patients population: Adult males from 18 years of age and up, public sector forensic hospital population
  • Major mental illness, substance use and character pathology common comorbidities 
• EMR: ERMA, a proprietary EMR application 
• Length of Stay: much longer than community hospital inpatient units, patients are here for a minimum of 20 days, many are long term commitments 
• Work hours: loosely 9-5, flexible/self-scheduled within reasonable limits. 
• Other collaborating staff: Multi-disciplinary team of mental health professionals, Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, SW’s, LMHC’s, Psychologists.  Also Rehabilitation Specialists, 24*7 Internal Medicine Physician on site, PT, OT, Nutritionist, and Dental Services. 
• Responsibilities you will be doing day-to-day: Provides psychiatric treatment and orders medications, studies, tests, referrals, and ancillary services that are required.
