Locums - Neonatal NP - East Texas

Location: 2 hrs from Dallas, TX

Hospital Info:

• Nicu beds: up to 35
• Nicu Level: Level 3

Reason For Coverage: searching for perm

Dates Needed:  Need 3-7 shifts per month - Flexible scheduling!

Shift Info: 24 hrs from 8a-8a or 12 hrs from 8a-8p. If working 24-hour shifts, the locum provider is required to take 24 hrs off

Credentialing Timeframe:  45-60 days 

Job Details:

• Setting: Inpatient
• Patient Volume: 25-30 split with 1 other APP and 1 MD
• Typical Day: Will start rounds at 8:15 am and quickly discuss what happened overnight. The 25-30 patients will be split between 2 APPs and 1 MD. All TPN and feeding reports need to be turned in by 1 pm every day. Will start rounds in the afternoon with the MD. Will be around for deliveries and procedures. For 24-hour in-house shifts, they offer a private sleep room with a shower and toilet 
• EMR: EPIC 
• Must have recent neonatology experience and an active TX license or can obtain a TX license quickly
• All travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered
