Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervising and evaluating patients receiving infusions in our infusion centers
- Visits with new patients to educate them on treatment side effects and schedules
- Providing survivorship visits to furnish patients with treatment summaries and educate them on their follow up recommendations after completion of treatment
- Follow up office visits with patients on observation or receiving oral therapy
- Same day visits with patients who call with new complaints during treatment
- Once clinical trial training is completed, you can see clinical trial patients for their treatment and visits
Position Highlights:
- In person or virtual visit options available depending on patient needs
- NO overnight or weekend call/hours required
- Patient visit hours in general will be from 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM but are flexible
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in nursing with advanced skills in physical assessment OR Possession of a Bachelor’s degree, together with a certificate from completing an American Medical Association approved physician assistant program.
- Registered Nurse with current unrestricted license to practice and use the title of Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Nurse in NYS or PA
- Possession of state and federal Controlled Substance Registration or able to obtain before starting employment
- Unless otherwise indicated, one year of current experience within the last three years in a comparable job classification
New York Residents Only: The salary range for New York residents is $ $109,513 to $160,000 per year.
