The Division of Anesthesiology at Phoenix Children’s is currently seeking Pediatric Anesthesiologists to join their growing team here in Phoenix, AZ!

    The Division of Anesthesiology at Phoenix Children’s is growing to provide Anesthesia care across the Valley, including three hospitals (two of which will open in 2024) and three ambulatory surgery centers. We provide the full spectrum of Pediatric Anesthesia care to approximately 36,000 children per year while managing teaching responsibilities to Anesthesia residents from the Mayo Clinic and the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a collaborative team, which is integral to delivering exceptional care with successful outcomes. The current operating room and interventional capacity include 12 inpatient ORs and 17 ambulatory ORs/GI endoscopy suites, two interventional radiology suites, and two cardiac catheterization suites. In addition, anesthesia provides care in five MRIs and in the hematology/oncology clinic. Between 2022 and 2024 PC will expand into two additional campuses which will increase OR suites by 12 additional rooms.

    Job Qualifications

    1. Interest in clinical excellence, education, and research
    2. MD/DO degree
    3. Board-certified in Anesthesia
    4. Board certified/Board eligible in Pediatric Anesthesia
    5. Should have the ability to work with teams on patient-focused, division-centric, and hospital-wide initiatives.
    6. Interest and/or experience in education, research, and programmatic development would appeal as we seek to develop our programs in these areas.
    7. Opportunity exists for academic affiliations with Mayo Clinic School of Medicine, University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix, and Creighton University School of Medicine.
