Job Highlights
The Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Surgical Institute is recruiting a full-time Plastic Surgeon to join our team serving the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area.
Contribute to the busiest microsurgical practice in the city by performing a wide range of reconstructive procedures in response to trauma, infection, and cancer. Provide a better quality of life while improving overall function and chronic pain. Enjoy a flexible office schedule that accommodates scheduling procedures in the main operation room and/or ambulatory surgery centers.
Job Duties
- Coverage of Level 1 Trauma Center
- Providing general plastics surgery care including: Breast reconstruction/oncoplasty; abdominal wall reconstruction; skin cancer and soft tissue excision with sentinel lymph node biopsy as needed;
- Collaboration with orthopedic surgeons on limb salvage
- Body contouring after massive weight loss
- Providing cosmetic/corrective surgery
- Interest in facial trauma is a preferred
Job Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an accredited fellowship in Plastic Surgery
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Plastic Surgery
- Pennsylvania Licensure in good standing prior to hire
