Position Summary:
The Regional Physiatry Director will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of physiatry services across multiple nursing home facilities within the Olympia / Tacoma area. This role involves provider management, quality assurance, operational oversight, and fostering strong relationships with facility leadership. The ideal candidate is a motivated leader with a passion for rehabilitation medicine, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to drive program growth while ensuring high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the regional physiatry program, ensuring clinical excellence and compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for providers, nursing home administrators, and other key stakeholders within the Olympia / Tacoma region.
- Recruit, train, and support physiatrists and advanced practice providers, ensuring seamless integration into the program.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and facility satisfaction.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify growth opportunities and expand services within the region.
- Provide operational support, including scheduling, workflow optimization, and performance monitoring.
- Address provider concerns, resolve operational challenges, and promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified or board-eligible physiatrist preferred; experienced healthcare professionals with strong administrative skills will also be considered.
- Previous experience in a leadership, management, or administrative role within physiatry, rehabilitation, or post-acute care settings is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster professional relationships.
- Ability to multitask and work independently while maintaining alignment with company goals.
- Understanding of nursing home and post-acute care environments.
