Job Details
- Join a growing team, presently consisting of 16 physicians and 6 Advanced Practice Providers at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital.
- High quality academic and clinical programs in our recently constructed/expanded Children’s Hospital with primary responsibility for an 18 bed Pediatric Progressive Care Unit and 24 bed Pediatric Intermediate Care Unit which can expand by up to 8 additional beds.
- Coverage with our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation colleagues at the joint venture Penn State Health Rehabilitation Hospital.
- Interactions and team-coverage with entire complement of medical and surgical specialties.
- Work with robust pediatric and med/peds residency programs.
Job Requirements
- Medical degree – MD, DO, or foreign equivalent.
- Fellowship trained, BC/BE in Pediatrics, BC/BE in Pediatric Hospital Medicine a plus
- Minimum 5 years pediatric experience.
- Eligible for the rank of Associate Professor or higher.
- Proven leadership experience in an academic healthcare environment.
- A strong commitment to patient care, medical student and resident education and research/scholarly activity is necessary.
