Certified Nurse Midwife- Women's Health and Obstetrics- SSM Health Dean Medical Group- Baraboo, WI

SSM Health is actively recruiting a full-time (0.8 FTE) Certified Nurse Midwife to join our amazing team in Baraboo. Baraboo, a picturesque community of just over 10,000, is nestled in the rolling hills of Sauk County in South Central Wisconsin, is located just 40 miles northwest of Madison.

The Baraboo Campus has a large primary care & multi-specialty clinic as well as a hospital. Imaging & lab are offered onsite in the clinic, and pharmacy is offered in the hospital which allows for excellent continuity of care.

In this traditional practice setting, you will see clinic patients, deliver babies, perform procedures and round on hospital patients. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new service line of CNMs and Ob/Gyn that will focus on community centered care.

The Opportunity:

  • Outpatient (Well women exams, prenatal visits, gyn office visits)
  • Inpatient responsibilities (Obstetric Care)
  • 2-3 clinic days per week
  • Call is 1:4, shared with the OB/GYN
  • Opportunity for outreach in WI Dells and Portage SSM Health clinics
  • Access to 450+ physicians in a wide variety of specialties
  • Capability to perform colposcopy, if trained

The Hospital:

SSM Health - St. Clare Hospital, is a 27-bed facility with 24-hour, Level 4 trauma ER coverage (contracted through Madison Emergency Physicians), 24/7 Hospitalist coverage, and 190 deliveries per year.
