Breast Imaging Locum in Western OR

Medicus has an opportunity available for a locum Breast Imager at a hospital-based Breast Center in Western Oregon. This locum opening offers a structured schedule and a supportive environment dedicated to patient care.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday.
• Trauma Level: 4 (No ER volume).
• Patient Demographic: Adult patients.
• Focus: Dedicated Breast Imaging role—no general radiology duties.
• Facilities:
  • Location 1: 1 mammography room, 2 ultrasound rooms.
  • Imaging Center: 1 mammography room, 1 ultrasound room (only screening exams performed).
• Team:
  • 250 radiologists in the practice, with the Breast Imager serving as the on-site physician.
  • Support staff includes 2 daytime ultrasound techs, 1 mammography tech, and 1 breast navigator.
• Role Support: Breast navigator assists in stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies and coordinates follow-up care for mammography patients.
• Technology: Powerscribe dictation into EPIC with EPIC Mammography reporting.
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
