Hospitalist - Hematology/Oncology

Position Summary:

We seek a highly motivated and compassionate Hospitalist to join our renowned Hematology/Oncology team at OHSU. In this dynamic role, you will be crucial in providing exceptional care to patients with hematological malignancies and other complex conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality inpatient care for patients with hematological malignancies, including those undergoing stem cell transplantation.
• Manage patient admissions and provide comprehensive medical care, including acute medical management.
• Collaborate closely with a team of experienced hematologists/oncologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Contribute to the education of medical students and residents.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

Qualifications:

• MD or MD/PhD degree
• Licensed to practice medicine in Oregon
• Board certified in Internal Medicine
