Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive Patient Assessments: Perform thorough assessments of patients presenting with urgent care needs, conducting detailed history-taking and physical examinations
• Diagnostic Expertise: Diagnose and treat a variety of minor illnesses and injuries, utilizing your expertise to order and interpret diagnostic tests as necessary
• Treatment Administration: Administer appropriate medications, vaccinations, and medical interventions based on established protocols, ensuring timely and effective patient care
• Collaborative Care: Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care, fostering an environment of teamwork and shared responsibility
• Patient Education: Provide clear and concise patient education on treatment plans, follow-up care, and preventive measures, promoting informed decision-making and wellness
• Electronic Health Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records, documenting all patient encounters with attention to detail and adherence to privacy regulations

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Licensure and Certification: Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Missouri (or willingness to obtain one). Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
• Experience: One year proven experience in urgent care or a similar fast-paced clinical setting, showcasing strong clinical and diagnostic decision-making skills
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a patient-centered approach to care
• Technology Proficiency: Proficient in using electronic health record systems, ensuring accurate and secure documentation
