Shasta Community Health Center (SCHC) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our mission-driven team in Redding, CA. About the Role

You’ll provide comprehensive health services including patient assessments, diagnostics, treatment planning, and follow-up care—consistent with scope of NP/PA practice. As an integral part of the SCHC team, you’ll also participate in Medical Staff/PA/NP meetings and contribute to ongoing clinical quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Take patient histories and perform physical exams
• Order and interpret diagnostics; implement treatment plans
• Consult with collaborating physicians as needed
• Provide patient education and support
• Be leader of your clinical team
• Participate in peer reviews and staff meetings
• Maintain licensure and CME compliance

• 15-20 patients per day depending on specialty

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
• Active CA medical license (or eligibility)
• Current CPR/BLS (ACLS/PALS optional)
• Outpatient experience with underserved populations preferred
• In good standing with CA Medical Board
