Rheumatologist Part-time Contracting Opportunity at San Mateo Medical Center

The San Mateo Medical Center (SMMC) is a county-based health system serving patients in San Mateo County, California. Our system includes an extensive primary care network, an acute care hospital, medical and surgical sub-specialty services, and long-term care. Responsibilities may include acute and chronic disease management, joint injections, clinical coverage at sites across San Mateo County, and consultation requests as necessary.

We are seeking a part-time BE/BC Rheumatologist to join our team to cover outpatient clinics, inpatient consults and call for SMMC.

​

Preference is given to candidates who manifest flexibility and a strong work ethic. SMMC offers competitive compensation packages that are customized to fit the need of the individual physician.

*Provider will enter into a 1-year contract with the County of San Mateo and be compensated at the MGMA median Western rates.

Job description:

Contract, part-time

1-2 half-day clinics a week

50% Call during business hours only

Hourly rate starting at $172

​

Minimum Requirements:

Board Certification or eligibility in Rheumatology

Active and unrestricted California license
