  • The Division of Neonatology at Phoenix Children’s seeks full-time BC/BE Neonatologist(s). The Neonatologist will provide care at the main campus of Phoenix Children’s and its affiliate locations at Phoenix Children’s – East Campus at Mercy Gilbert and Chandler Regional Medical Center.

    Phoenix Children's is the academic medical center for the affiliated University of Arizona-College of Medicine-Phoenix. The program includes approximately 13,000 deliveries from all of the sites with an active maternal-fetal medicine/fetal care network program.

    1. The program includes a Level IV nursery at Phoenix Children's, a level III nursery at Phoenix Children’s - East and a Level II nursery at Chandler Regional.
    2. Full subspecialty support is present at the sites and full support is available to all neonates including protective hypothermia program, ECMO, and Neonatal Cardiac program.
    3. Medical Students are educated through the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix, Mayo Clinic School of Medicine, and Creighton University School of Medicine.
    4. Education is provided to Neonatology fellows and to pediatric residents through the Phoenix Children’s graduate medical education programs.
    5. Participation in clinical research and quality improvement projects are the norm.
    6. A culture of collaboration exists between attending physicians, nurse practitioners, and trainees.

    Job Qualifications

    1. MD or equivalent degree
    2. Eligibility for licensure in the State of Arizona
    3. Board certification or eligibility in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
