    We are professional, agile and our goal is to Find a qualified psychiatrist to care for our Veterans.

    Duties:

    • Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess mental health conditions and develop treatment plans
    • Provide crisis management and intervention for patients experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms
    • Administer and monitor medication regimens to manage psychiatric disorders
    • Utilize evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to address behavioral health issues
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and develop comprehensive treatment plans - Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions to address emotional and psychological challenges - Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations

    Experience:

    • Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist - Completion of post-residency training in Psychiatry
    • Experience in diagnostic evaluation and treatment of a wide range of psychiatric disorders - Proficiency in crisis management and intervention techniques - Knowledge of evidence-based therapies, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
    • Familiarity with PTSD care and treatment modalities
    • Ability to work effectively in a hospital or clinical setting Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
