  • The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking an exceptional clinician to join the Division of Academic Specialists in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ASOG) as Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor with expertise in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.  This person will be based at the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center with an academic appointment at the Penn State College of Medicine

     

    The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology encompasses the full range of subspecialties including specialists in Academic General Obstetrics and Gynecology (Women’s Health), Family Planning, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, Gynecologic Oncology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. The Department has an excellent relationship with Pediatric Endocrinology and Adolescent Medicine, including shared clinic time with board-certified Adolescent Medicine physicians and a robust adolescent and young adult gender dysphoria research and clinical care group. There is extensive opportunity for research and clinical collaboration across disciplines.

    The Assistant / Associate Professor of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology will be responsible for providing evidence-based, multidisciplinary care for patients requiring pediatric gynecology services, educating the next generation of leaders in obstetrics and gynecology and contributing to investigation and discovery in the area of pediatric gynecology.

    Required qualifications:

    ·         MD, DO or equivalent degree

    ·         BC/BE OBGYN with fellowship training in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology

    ·         Ability to acquire a license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania

    ·         Must be able to obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates

    ·         Commitment to leadership and achievement in academic medicine

    ·         Evidence of scholarly productivity
